A local nationwide company contacted GPN Bespoke Furniture direct to help in the design and manufacture of a new reception counter for their new office building. They were looking for something to stand out with a bit of a ‘wow’ factor, something that would show quality and leave a great impression on all their visitors. A meeting was organised for the GPN design team to visit the client to discussed their ideas and how best to turn these into reality. They required the worktops and front panel to be in solid surface material with a woodgrain planked effect look to the main section of counter. The GPN design team suggested that the solid surface front section be lit up with an LED lighting panel to make the counter stand out.
Drawings were then produced and samples organised so the client could take a look and make any changes they required so the counter would fit in with all their needs. After a couple of small changes approval was given and manufacture was started. The reception counter was manufactured within the required time frame and was fully installed on the day required.
A year after installing this counter we were asked to return to retofit an additional raised counter section. This was to match in with the existing counter finish.
